すさのわ, a property with a garden, is situated in Izumo, 17 km from Masakigaoka Park, 23 km from Former Taisha Station, as well as 24 km from Hamayama Park. The hosts were extremely attentive. Cooking facilities were available shared with the family. The bathroom was also shared but there was no problem whatsoever. We really loved staying here in amazing surroundings. At the weekends go to the little cafe at the top of the road where there is local guitar playing. Tell the Sylvie from London told you to go.

7.8 km from Fukuura Tunnel, guesthouse碧 is a recently renovated property situated in Okinoshima and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Beautiful recently renovated ryokan on the northern part of the island. Owners are unbelievably lovely. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We adored the time there.

Guest House Yonemuraya tilbyder indkvartering i det centrale Matsue, 5 minutters gang fra Matsue Slot. Der er gratis wi-fi overalt og privat parkering på stedet. Guest house Yonemuraya was a pleasant surprise. It was so much better than staying at a hotel, as it felt like a more authentic Japanese experience. I travelled to Matsue for a conference at Kunibike Messe convention centre and this was only a short walk away. Emi-San was an excellent host, helping me with finding place for dinner, sightseeing and shopping ideas when I had time off work. There was a lively restaurant area nearby, and the train station, castle etc were within walking distance.

Kusuburu House ligger i et renoveret japansk hus omgivet af rolig natur og tilbyder kæledyrsvenlig indkvartering i Okinoshima. The house is equipped with traditional Japanese furniture and really cute souvenirs. The host couple was super friendly and we can only recommend having dinnner at Kusuburu house - the food was delicious. We even went fishing with the host and he prepared the fish we caught right after as Sashimi and fried fish - one of our favorite experiences during our four weeks in Japan. We really hope to be able to visit Kusuburu House one day again.
