Set in Ishigaki Island, near Painuhama Artificial Beach, Yaeyama Museum and Nantominzoku Museum, ゲストハウス喜舎場 features a shared lounge. Excellent location, bed was super comfortable. Space was large and toilets were really good and clean with big kitchen space and chill space. I was living alone fortunately so I had everything to myself but it’s really warm and cozy if many people were there too! Also kishaba was very friendly and nice!

Offering a garden and city view, Happy Island Miyako is situated in Miyako Island, 1.8 km from Painagama Beach and 3.4 km from Turiba Seaside Park. Nice staff and a very warm-hearted owner who is eager to help the guests. Open-air rooftop where you can feel the cool breeze. Offer everything with kitchen and bathroom stuff. Just bring your towel and a happy attitude. I took the buses from the beach to the other beach. I didn't bring an International driver's license, so no car for me. I could rent an electric bike, but I would rather sit on the air-conditioning buses. All the beaches in Miyako Jima are good, so taking buses close to any beach was not a problem. And this hostel is very close to the bus stop which goes to the airport also. Google map bus schedule is up to date, so you can trust that and just give and take 5-7min. I will miss this place for sure. I attached the food photo which the owner cooked for the guest that he caught on that day and the beach is 25 min walk from the hostel.

Guys, you are so great! The house is incredibly comfortable, the natural materials in the house - wooden floors, beautiful wooden staircase, reed-mats (tatami-floors), cute little plants everywhere, linen-cotton mix sheets, and the whole set up of the main room/kitchen and rooms and bathrooms - all done with so much attention and love and care that you feel as a guest there very comfortable and welcome. The mattresses were comfortable - we slept good on them. The kitchen was greatly equipped with everything you need. The hosts kept a freshly cold brewed jasmine tea in the fridge - it was so good! We used the washing machine and the dryer or dried our laundry outside. I loved the hanging hammock chair on the terrace, was really fun. Also, we found that the other guests themselves were very cool and interesting. We made friends with many guests during our stay. There is a great farmers market a few walking minutes away as well as two Family Marts just around the corner and other shops and restaurants. The Ferry Terminal (from where we took the bus to the airport) is only 10-15 min walk. We felt safe and well taken care of in this guest house. To summarize, we had a really great time there. Mr. owner and his family have great services. Rooms are spacious, clean and good equiped, everything what you need is available in cleaning room, they are very kind and helpful, breakfast is various and big. Mr. owner has good english. There is a cat around we called Gyoza, buy some cat food. Thank you for everything, it was really nice stay.

Featuring a balcony with sea views, a rooftop pool and free bikes, Stäy Hotel can be found in Nago, close to Sumuide Beach and 1.1 km from Airakuen Beach. The location, the back of the hotel has access directly to beach (although it’s not a clean walk-way, once in the beach what the sand that water touches is super clean +2-4meters) Really such an amazing place to wake up too! Finding food nearby can be tricky in the winter months! Please be aware. There is a store nearby that closes by 8pm! Stock up on basics Nearby restaurant is literally one of the best in the area! No exaggeration, it is the restaurant the host recommended!
