Located in Hakuba, 9 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Keimichi Guest House provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very clean with all necessary facilities in the kitchen. Just outside of the guesthouse, there’s a free shuttle bus to ski resort in the morning. Even 20-30 mins walk to Hakuba train station and supermarket, during winter, it’s a little bit far, however it is still within walking distance. Affordable and comfortable place to stay for solo traveler.

Offering a garden and garden view, 松本はなれ is set in Matsumoto, 1.4 km from Matsumoto Station and 4.9 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum. This guest house offers free private parking and a shared kitchen.... This was a cozy & comfortable stay in Matsumoto. I wish I had booked two nights in Matsumoto, instead of doing a night in Kamikochi. The host was very kind, showing me a tour around the home. He also made it easy to talk to by using a translation device? which was highly appreciated :). It was also nice and quiet, there were a couple other folks staying in the inn but I had not encountered them during my short stay. A good location pretty close to the subway station. There’s also the cutest cafe across the street that I highly recommend going to.

Not difficult to visit as they provide pick up at Shiojiri train station. Owner (Wakuw and Ayano) who's switch their city life back into nature are so kind and give us very warm welcome. there is a camp ground nearby and we can have a short walk amidst the nature scene. if required. they can provide you breakfast and dinner that you should try as Wakuw San was a chef from Tokyo who back to nature life.

So much interactivity from the owner, who would message me through the day when I got lost. Great location, and free parking available (tell them in advance). Host let me use the facilities which was a great help. Very clean and a nice house.

The property staff are such friendly and accommodating people, you’ll feel right at home!

The room itself was also perfect and a great size. Overall a great value for the money.
