Traditional, clean, quiet, perfect! Our host went out of his way to make us feel at home, he even drove out to us walking back in the rain to deliver us umbrellas!

We stayed two nights, enjoyed our entire stay and can wholeheartedly reccomend staying with Hiro, specifically if you want to experience a japanese home from the inside. Featuring 2-star accommodation, Guest House Wakabaya is situated in Takamatsu, 2.6 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 3.5 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. Exceptionally friendly and helpful owner. When we arrived he asked what our plans were during our time on shikoku and gave excellent tips/maps to fit our itinerary. Clean accommodation with fridge/crockery and a nice communal space. Arrived late and he could recommend where to get dinner. Parking available.

一日限定一組の宿なんでもん is a recently renovated guest house in Naoshima, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. The property features sea and garden views. We had a wonderful stay on Mukoujima island. The island is very small with a lot of nature and a wonderful beach. The host was extremely friendly and caring. He drove us by boat to Naoshima port and back, cooked us wonderful dinner and breakfast and showed us around the island. We had a great time and would have loved to stay longer.

The staff was very responsive to requests for replacements of consumables. The beds were large enough to sleep two on each. The kitchen was well-equipped with a pan, an electric stove, a microwave oven, a fridge and cooking utensils. The room was spacious, tidy and clean.
