Situated in Takamatsu and only 300 metres from Kitahamaebisu Shrine, Kitahama Sumiyoshi features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. A gorgeous property that was very comfortable and immaculately presented. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Beautiful garden to view.

You'll find an umbrella handy for rainy days in Naoshima, a telephone available for your use, high-quality tea, cutlery, and dishes, a comfortable bathroom, complimentary dental care, and bath amenities. The door is fitted with an easy-to-use lock system, eliminating the need to carry keys during your walks, among other conveniences—all at your disposal! The accommodation is not close to the Naoshima bus terminal(about 20min walk); however, convenient buses traverse the entire island, making it easily accessible. Our host, Jhonny, was exceptionally kind and warmly welcomed us. He adeptly led conversations and readily assisted us in every way possible. Jhonny offered invaluable advice on places to visit, provided ferry timetable information, and even volunteered to pick us up from the Naoshima bus terminal. He also made a restaurant reservation for us upon our arrival. Truly an outstanding individual!

Set just 10 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, kaeru Guest house provides accommodation in Takamatsu with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as bicycle parking. The owner is very nice. He offered to pick me up from the station and bring me to the station on check-out day. The rooms are very clean and the house is beautiful. The house is surrounded by the beautiful countryside and the next FamilyMart is a 5 minute walk away. You can rent a bike for free to drive around. I was there for almost a week and I really enjoyed my stay.

Location was easy to find, and the house has a clear guesthouse sign. Very good Udon restaurant just five minutes' walk. Visiting Isamu Noguchi Garden museum and hiking to Aji Ryuozan Park which are lovely attractions in the close vicinity

Hoshikuzu, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Naoshima, 500 metres from Naoshima Pavillion, 500 metres from Naoshima Christ Church, as well as 2 km from Gokaisho Art House Project. Oh god we loved this place. Unique and cool space, layout, warm cozy rooms, enough bathroom space.

Featuring 2-star accommodation, Guest House Wakabaya is situated in Takamatsu, 2.6 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 3.5 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. We had the best experience possible of checking in quite late after a long day and with a busy schedule ahead of us. Takeshi is very welcoming and in perfect English helped us out with our itinerary on visiting Naoshima & Teshima as well as providing tips for other must-see places in the area (as we were there to visit some architectural highlights), with some really cool less touristy options that are not often mentioned in other guidebooks. All in all a very relaxing experience even though we had a full itinerary during our travel through Japan!

The staff was very responsive to requests for replacements of consumables. The beds were large enough to sleep two on each. The kitchen was well-equipped with a pan, an electric stove, a microwave oven, a fridge and cooking utensils. The room was spacious, tidy and clean.
