This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. The facilities were very nice and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was super friendly also. I highly recommend!

Urridafoss Waterfall is 11 km away.... Exceptional. Room is nice and cozy, size is sufficient for two grownups. The kitchen and dining area, as well as the common use rooms and outdoor zone definitely makes up for the size. Very, very clean and quiet. Easy check in and check out. My question regarding ironing board and iron was answered promptly, which I greatly appreciate. In short, would recommend.

Bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything useful. We carried our own coffee and tea, but they were prepared in the kitchen, too. Kitchen is covered by full glasses so we ejoyed the nature even we were indoored due to the rain. Self check in and out are easy and quick. Breakfast is good enough, and some icelandic breakfast is extra.

These modern, self-catering apartments are located in the village of Hveragerdi, 45 km from Reykjavík. Each offers free Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen and access to a shared, furnished garden terrace.... We were not able to reach the apartment as the road nb 1 was broken due to glacier flooding. road was cut for 3 days, something to keep in mind when traveling even if extremely unusual (1100km round trip to reach airport) BUT we give a 10 rating as the owners kindly refund us for the night which covers the costs of another place on the road
