Everything! Our stay was perfect. Sarah (the owner) is a very great host and helped us with so many kind of different things! She and the whole family are incredibly kind. Sarah organized for example a guide, a motorbike and our bus back to Makassar. When somebody of us felt sick, she said was very caring and she did everything that we felt really comfortable. On top of all of that, she is one of the best baker we have ever seen (jam, bread, cake… all is homemade) and definitely the best in Indonesia!! She is creative, innovative and she built here in the middle of Tana Toraja a place where everybody just can feel like home!

He did never hurry us and gave us all the time we needed to process this amazing culture in Tana Toraja. Astro was every time the first one, who knew news and rumors and that’s why we spent two wonderful days with him and enjoyed every single minute with this great guy.

Perfectly located near the city centre and still very quiet street. The Homestay is beautiful with an awesome interior design but which be made my stay there unique and unforgettable was the two hosts Marlah and George. They helped me with everything I needed, airport pickup, restaurant recommendations and Marlah booked even an appointment for me at the hospital because I had to see a doctor. No doubt, this Homestay is highly recommended and probably one of the best places to stay in Makassar!
Hospitality, kindness and willingness to help is second to none. The owners made my stay feel at home. Ibra is a fantastic host, he serves delicious breakfasts and the whole space is very homey and welcoming. And it is located in a beautiful quiet area very close to Torajan attractions. On top of that I was helped with my bus ticket back to Makassar. I am absolutely grateful for having stayed in such a wonderful place and if I am in Sulawesi again I will surely come back.

A nice homestay in the main street of Rantempao. Walking distance from the city center. Big spaces, super super kind hosts, always with a smile and good mood. Local food at good prices, different breakfast options and good portions.

Guesthouse has a perfect location in calm area of Bara. Very beautiful beach is literaly few steps from the place. It's possible to use kitchen which is nice. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful, they arranged a scooter rental and transport to Makassar. The room was very clean, has AC and amazing view.

We had a great stay at Mama Tia! Yacob and his family are great hosts, they offered tour to help us discover the Toraja culture and it was super interesting. The guesthouse is located in rice fields, room is clean and well equipped, super wifi. Common bathroom clean. Nice terrace overlooking the fields. Breakfast good and tasty. We even had dinner there (additional cost but as good as in any restaurant!) 100% would recommend.
