A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Palangkaraya, Bukit Raya Guesthouse is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. We stayed here twice and tried two different rooms. First we stayed in the tree house. The tree house is a brilliant bit of architecture but it's open. So there are no windows. Because of this you get a lot of mosquitoes. Also I would say only suitable for couples, not friends, because the shower isn't very private. The standard room has a proper door and windows, a lot more mosquito proof. The room is lovely and half the price of the treehouse. The whole layout of the hotel is brilliant and very comfortable and relaxing. You will enjoy your stay here. The staff were great. Breakfast tasty.
