A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Palangkaraya, Bukit Raya Guesthouse is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. The tree house is a brilliant bit of architecture but it's open. So there are no windows. Because of this you get a lot of mosquitoes. Also I would say only suitable for couples, not friends, because the shower isn't very private. The standard room has a proper door and windows, a lot more mosquito proof. The room is lovely and half the price of the treehouse. The whole layout of the hotel is brilliant and very comfortable and relaxing. You will enjoy your stay here. The staff were great. Breakfast tasty.

Very good hotel It deserves more than 7.5 on Booking.com. Large quiet room, good Wifi and safe that I didn't use. Big pool. Attentive, efficient and friendly staff Great breakfast with western and local food. I really liked the local food like fried rice with seafood, Chinese kongee style porridge, fried tofu tempeh etc. Elevator works well

A great little paradise, quite room in a tropical garden. The house is comfortable and welcoming, very good breakfast. Rizal is a very nice host. He organized everything for us, the orango tour in Kaya Island was full of Surprise and also the tour in Town in the night. Thanks to Rizal we had a nice staying and visiting in Palangkaraya. Recommended if you come in this area.
Great location near the airport. The property is modern and clean. There is a great swimming pool to cool off. The rooms are well appointed, nice hot showers, refrigerator, and English channels on TV.
I really liked the atmosphere relaxed and informal. Rizal, the manager, is very welcoming and helpful. He also makes most of the food they provide for breakfast which is super good and healthy. The guesthouse is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of little corners where to have your privacy and relax.
Rizal was acting as a perfect host. Always trying to help us out when we had questions or requests. And showing us the way to the local coffee shop. The garden was beautiful and full of life. We could appreciate the way they treat their staff (or friends as they call them). Not all of them speak English, but the key persons do, so it was no problem.
Central location for Pangkalan Bun. Air con worked well. Comfortable bed. Free water refills and tea/coffee. Think they do a basic Indonesian breakfast but we did not have it. it's very cheap but get what you pay for.
