They also sell cheap dinners, which is a must try. If available, try to get the room(or whatever this small building is called) with a ‘mountain view’. Can see a lot of stars in the night and breathe fresh air. Staff has been very nice and helpful. Breakfasts are wonderful.

Janur Bungalow offers an accommodation in Borobudur, set in a village surrounded by rice fields. It boasts an outdoor pool with overflow circulation system. Bobby the host/owner is super accommodating and kind throughout our stay. He made sure that everything we need was taken care of.

The service is excellent. Foods are great, with lots of options to choose from, and the portion is super generous. FANTASTIC breakfast! Feels like a queen on a mini banquet. The villa looks very lovely, got a feel of staying in Central Java's traditional house. It is also very comfortable inside, with modern amenities. The AC is cold, helps to cool down if there is any heatwave. Love the shower with the plants and stone wall too. Swimming pool is clean and has a nice size. There are activities to choose from, arranged by the resort. They can also arrange transport to the city center or airport. Staffs are super helpful and knowledgeable. All and all good value for money. Great place to unwind. Resort is beautifully designed.

You have to try the food in this restaurant, its very good. The best guest house in the town. Very recomended.

Quiet but central wooden huts. Breakfast (we were the only guests but got a very good cappuchino and traditional Indonesian rice free breakfast. Very helpful were free bicycles to the Borobodur temple area entrance which is now no longer a short walking distance, but has been recently moved a 20-30 walk away. Important about Borobodur under the new regime: Make sure you book online ahead of time the „structural tour“ with roof access. Without it you will likely be disappointed.

The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably
