Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. Very friendly and polite staff, always available to assist us! The cleanest hotel i have ever been, great smelling of sheets and towels. Delicious breakfast with a lot of variety and homemade snacks. They even allowed us to leave our luggages and have a shower after checking out. Highly recommended!!

Set in a historic building in the heart of Hydra, Angelica Traditional Boutique Hotel boasts charming accommodations with spa baths or jet showers, and offers a courtyard with a mini pool, hot tub and sauna. The breakfast had great variety, and more than enough for the guests. The room was perfect for the two of us, and the soaps had a very pleasant feel and smell, unlike others I’ve experienced. I could’ve easily just stayed in, instead of exploring.
