A mile from Salisbury city centre, this 4-star (AA) B&B is in its own beautiful gardens, well situated on the A36 for Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum and Longleat. We stayed at Cricket Field House for just one night on a road trip. It was the most incredibly comfortable room, looking out over the cricket pitch and park (which was great for a run in the morning). There is a small shop just a few minutes walk, and a microwave, cutlery and crockery in the large and bright room which meant we could have a very relaxed evening without having to go anywhere. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff really welcoming and accommodating. So glad we chose to stay there.

Located in Swallowcliffe, The Royal Oak features a garden and bar. This inn features free WiFi and on-site dining. Free private parking is available on site. Friendly helpful staff. The restaurant was EXCELLENT - much better than expected. Not only breakfast, but the Dinner was worth driving there specifically to eat, even if you stay elsewhere. The room was large and spacious, and the quality of the pillows, sheets, tea and coffee etc were all excellent. You could tell the person who decorated the room had a design flair. Very individual, and personalised.

Situated in Wilton, 5.4 km from Salisbury, Greyhound Inn Wilton boasts a terrace and views of the garden. It is 12.8 km to Stonehenge from the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and... Everything from the moment we arrived until we left. The building itself is very cute, the staff greeted us warmly and the room was sympathetic. Food was also amazing (we had onpy breakfast but would aasume lunch/dinner is also great). Additionally, I’m a light sleeper but I slept perfectly on the good bed and pillows.

The property is set in a beautiful little village about 20 mins from Bath by bus. The room was clean and spacious, excellent reception , friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and you could request what you wanted. comfortable bed and it was so quiet , a good nights sleep was guaranteed. great food at the local Pub but would recommend booking.would and will definately go back.

The Pear Tree Inn is situated just 20 minutes' drive away from Bath, less than 10 minutes' drive from the National Trust village of Lacock and the market town of Bradford on Avon. Absolutely lovely inn. Beautiful gardens, rooms and common areas. Very clean and cozy! Beds were super comfortable and they even provided a fan for these hot spring days. All the staff was very nice and attentive. Food was excellent too!
