Roomy, clean, comfortable beds, opening windows with cushioned seats in them, and an exceptional bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities that included fresh coffee and a press, as well as a thermos with milk. Very friendly people, good food, although, due to a busy Sunday the Cheeseburger was sold out, but that always makes me happy as they then do not come out of a freezer. Breakfast was perfect. Many choices, even up to a Bloody Mary if you are in need of one :-) Location right next to a road (hey, it is an inn...), ample parking and very close to Stourhead House. Also an easy couple of hours from Dover which makes it a nice target for your first or last night in Britain.

Ubytovanie The Old House Guest House sa nachádza v destinácii Salisbury 14 min. chôdze od miesta Železničná stanica Salisbury. The breakfast was unbelievable. We had the full English breakfast every morning, as well as cereal and fruits. Mrs. M. is a wonderful person and it was always nice to meet her smiling face every morning. We stayed 8 nights and never tired of it! The spacious bedroom (#6) is charming with exposed beams and nice linens. Mark furnished a fan and we brought our own as well. With the windows closed and the fans on, heavy curtains pulled, we heard NO road noise. It would be noisy with windows opened, but we had been warned beforehand and did not have a problem. The location is mixed. Not much to see or do in the immediate area, but it is a shortish walk to the downtown (about 20 minutes). No restaurants except for an ordinary pub. We were there for the Chalke Valley History Festival and the location was perfect for that, about a 20 minute drive but not complicated. Parking was a huge plus. The owners (Mark & his parents) made the stay so special. I was reminded of trips to England in the 1970s, when B&Bs were very personal and homey. Thank you. We will be back next year!

Located in Swallowcliffe, The Royal Oak features a garden and bar. This inn features free WiFi and on-site dining. Free private parking is available on site. Friendly helpful staff. The restaurant was EXCELLENT - much better than expected. Not only breakfast, but the Dinner was worth driving there specifically to eat, even if you stay elsewhere. The room was large and spacious, and the quality of the pillows, sheets, tea and coffee etc were all excellent. You could tell the person who decorated the room had a design flair. Very individual, and personalised.

Situated in Wilton, 5.4 km from Salisbury, Greyhound Inn Wilton boasts a terrace and views of the garden. It is 12.8 km to Stonehenge from the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and... A lovely Inn in a central location. We were able to park right outside. Nikki and Graham are excellent hosts. Our door lock had a problem that was fixed without delay. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked and was hot. The breakfast was amazing.

The property is set in a beautiful little village about 20 mins from Bath by bus. The room was clean and spacious, excellent reception , friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and you could request what you wanted. comfortable bed and it was so quiet , a good nights sleep was guaranteed. great food at the local Pub but would recommend booking.would and will definately go back.

The Pear Tree Inn is situated just 20 minutes' drive away from Bath, less than 10 minutes' drive from the National Trust village of Lacock and the market town of Bradford on Avon. such a wonderful place to stay! it felt like home from home and felt so welcoming and homely! The food on offer was incredible and all the staff were attentive and highly customer focused We live very our room and we slept so well! very comfortable beds! We would 💯 stay again we loved it. Thanksl you to everyone for such a special stay!

Ubytovanie Great Ashley Farm Bed and Breakfast & Shepherds Huts sa nachádza v destinácii Bradford on Avon 8,8 km od miesta Univerzita v meste Bath a 10 km od miesta Bath Abbey. Helen's breakfasts were excellent! Locally sourced sausages, bacon, eggs and all the other foods were fresh and tasty! This property is off the main road, thus very peaceful and relaxing. A great pub is only minutes away! Our room was exceptionally clean and cozy. This is an active farm, and we loved the sheep and animals nearby, with the big event being witness to a new-born lamb! If you enjoy hiking, stay here as there are so many trails to explore. Bath, Bradford, and many other sites are very close-by as well. Highly recommended!!!!
