The nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport, 34 km from the accommodation. We stopped there for the night. Very nice restaurant, quite generous portions and very serviceable staff. The hotel is brilliant. We had a superb room,very nicely decorated, excellent bed, very quiet we slept quite well. Here again, the staff was very nice and helpful.

There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. The aparthotel has family rooms. Property was nice, good location for what we needed. Spacious and clean. Staff were lovely and accommodating! Loads of towels and bedding.

Good location for an event we were attending at the Rugby Club. Very secure with coded entrance and key safe box. Spacious room, clean and comfy with towels and linen provided. Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from South Shields’ beach and Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, this 3-star guest house offers free Wi-Fi access. South Shields Metro Station is also within a 10-minute walk of Beechwood Guest House. Exceptionally clean and tidy and warm, management first class as was the service. Very quiet at night. I would definately recommend for a stay.

Breakfast was excellent and very good value for money.
