Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!

He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He was a great conversationalist as well.

I've stayed 3 times at The Alma. The rooms are great and comfortable, the food is outstanding, including breakfast and in the pub restaurant, and the beer is perfect too.

The Sandrock er í aðeins nokkurra mínútna göngufjarlægð frá West Cliff-ströndinni, miðbæ Clacton-On-Sea og bryggjunni Clacton-On-Sea. Ókeypis WiFi er til staðar. Host was very welcoming and and informative re parking. The location is amazing. We went for a concert at the West Cliff Theatre and its minutes from there and the beach front. The whole place is impeccably clean, very quiet and the breakfast was very yummy. No expense has been spared on the bed and bedding, which resulted in a very indulgent nights sleep.

Everything! The hosts Sofia and Paul were lovely, very personable and accommodating. The guesthouse is the perfect location for the beach and city centre. The room was clean/tidy and had everything we needed for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable too. Shower was spacious with instant hot water, unlike bigger hotels we've stayed in previously. This is one accommodation we couldn't find fault with.
