Me and my friend stayed at Magnolia House for 2 nights and everything was perfect. The house is located very close to the train station and to the city center. Javed, the host, and his staff are really nice people, friendly, kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable (pillows and mattress are amazing!), same for the bathroom with a big shower box. The entire house is eco-sustainable. Breakfast was just something else! You can help yourself with several fruit juices, tea, coffe, home-made yogurt (addicting!!!), bread, cereals, home-made marmalade, fruits and so on, while they will cook you what you can choose from their amazing menu. Dogs are welcome! Highly recommended! Definitely a 10 star option if you stay in lovely Rye!

It was a great stay with the friendliest host we have ever met. Got many recommendations to explore the city. Breakfast was super - freshly prepared. Not far from the beach to go for a swim and bus stop is nearby.

The house is in a quiet street, just a few steps away from the beach promenade, there is some distance to be covered to the very center of the city, but there are significantly less drunks and tramps around, which seems to be one of the Eastbourne's plagues.

The ambiance was perfect, the food excellent and the staff super helpful and friendly! We loved staying in The Two Sawyers and would highly recommend it.

Our room was very pleasant and the food was great (we had the full English breakfast and Sunday roast). The bathroom was very large with good storage and plenty of heating. Staff were very friendly and it was nice to stay at a family-run business that locals also enjoy visiting. The pub atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. It was great being located close to the start of the Seven Sister's cliff walk. The bus stop was close by and we caught the bus to the Seven Sisters Country Park and walked back to Eastbourne along the cliffs. The parking lot was also very convenient as we had driven down from London. The Pilot Inn made our stay in Eastbourne very enjoyable.
