Situated in the heart of Chester, the Grosvenor Place Guest House offers free WiFi. Within the city walls, this Georgian townhouse is just a 10-minute walk from Chester Racecourse. Everything was perfect. We really liked the room. Very clean and nice room and bath. Is having little touches is making nicer the stay and we really appreciate. Good breakfast and lovely people. We will come back without any doubt.

The moment we walked in we were warmly greeted and shown to our room. Dinner was fabulous! Our room, the 'Shire' was a ''family room' with much more space than we needed :) The breakfast provided a great selection and was delicious! The staff was amazing - Emma greeted us, Joe and Ben served us drinks and dinner and Kirsten (GM) was around all evening! They even allowed us to extend our stay 'on the fly' :) This place is now our FAVORITE stay ever!!!!

The hosts provided very clear instructions for entering the property. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There were tea and coffee facilities with a mini fridge and storage space for clothes. There was a huge bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of towel hooks, plus shampoo and shower gel. The shower had great water pressure and the temperature was easy to control. It was exactly what I was looking for in a picturesque place with canals, pubs and cafes nearby. There are lovely areas to walk around, including the dam and surrounding forest, and the canals. I arrived by bus and left by taxi, and I found it simple enough to move around without using a car.

The room was eclectic and cozy. The owner Martin was warm and gracious. The pub serverd a great steak and the continental breakfast really set me up for the day. I like small hotels and pubs with rooms.
