Located on the Parkgate's Parade in Wirral, with fabulous views over the Dee estuary to North Wales, the Ship Hotel offers fresh, locally-sourced, hearty food, free Wi-Fi, and free parking on site. We stayed 3 Nights, would have stayed longer if we could have. Lovely location, Food was excellent, Beds were very comfy & Staff were among the best we encountered on our 4 week Holiday. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

The room and bathroom were fantastic!! My steak and ale pie for dinner was lovely. And a full English breakfast was included in the rate. Amazing!

The hosts provided very clear instructions for entering the property. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There were tea and coffee facilities with a mini fridge and storage space for clothes. There was a huge bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of towel hooks, plus shampoo and shower gel. The shower had great water pressure and the temperature was easy to control. It was exactly what I was looking for in a picturesque place with canals, pubs and cafes nearby. There are lovely areas to walk around, including the dam and surrounding forest, and the canals. I arrived by bus and left by taxi, and I found it simple enough to move around without using a car.

Very clean and comfortable room with good extras such as tea/coffee making facilities and bathroom extras. Good parking, quiet and good location. Excellent breakfast and options and very friendly hosts. Would return if needed and definitely recommend.

I like the owner Martin and his staff. The Pub has great tunes and a respectful crowd. The room is eclectic and comfy the water pressure is good the towels are soft and the breakfast is excellent . Sunday roast was delicious

Hið heillandi 18. aldar Badger Inn býður upp á nýtískulega gistingu í 8 km fjarlægð frá Winsford, Cheshire. Super place, the staff here are really excellent and the best part of the stay. Everyone was both friendly and professional, the standard of customer care is about the best I ever experienced and far beyond what you get normally in this kind of accommodation. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and apart from a bit of noise in the evening from patrons in the bar and restaurant it's really peaceful. Food is really excellent, especially when you pick more local options. While not cheap it's not at all expensive given the quality, care and service solid 10/10. Breakfast in particular is exceptional, even got in some marmite for me which was a lovely touch. WiFi, parking and general facilities are top! I think the only topic would be if you have mobility issues the stairs up to rooms are pretty steep. Overall I cannot find any faults at all, a really great experience and can only recommend it.
