Situated in Lamlash and only 800 metres from Lamlash Beach, Monamore Guest House features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Emily was an amazing host where nothing was any trouble. She had decorated her rooms with the utmost care and consideration for the traveller. The room was super-sized and very comfortable. She was also so kind to do some laundry for us for a small fee. Breakfast was super and a good selection. Looking out the back at the birds and the red squirrels was an added bonus.

Set in Largs and only 700 metres from Largs Bay Beach, St Leonards Guest House offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Hosts went out of their way to accommodate our unavoidable, late arrival time, even providing a freshly baked sweet because we would miss dinner. The rooms were clean and well-appointed; breakfast was great. Traffic noise was a little noticeable, but did not detract from the stay at all. Short walk to the beach.

In the heart of Irvine, Braidmead House is just 2 miles from the sandy beaches of the Firth of Clyde. With free parking and free WiFi, the guest house also offers fine Scottish breakfasts. Breakfast was excellent, wide variety of cooked and snacks, etc. Great hospitality from the owners, they really do everything they can for the guests, very-very nice people! House is great, parlor with a variety of drinks, ice, magazines, room is also very clean and nice, comfortable bed, etc.

Beechwood En-suite Rooms is ideally located between both the towns of Ayr and Prestwick, and is just an 8 minutes’ drive from Prestwick Airport. El tracte personalitzat i l’esmorzar. Ens van donar molt bona informació de com arribar i de com continuar el nostre viatge. Un bon lloc on quedar-se si voles a l’aeroport de Prestwick, al costat de l’estació de tren que comunica directe amb l’aeroport.

Parking was easy outside, and it's handy to town for restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, and the room was immaculate, but the highlight were the hosts, who were chatty, welcoming, and professional all at once. And the little touches in the room were fantastic, such as plenty of milk for tea (why do so many places only give you enough for one cup?), and even a welcome card. Couldn't fault a single thing!
