The location was perfect, easy to walk into the little village for the markets. The breakfast in the morning was great and the girl working there was amazing. Super helpful, friendly and just made our stay really nice. Would definitely go back.

Nice location, two nice pools available, as well as a lot of books. Good location in a very nice town on Île de Ré.

The accommodations were so comfortable: the bed, the quiet, the outdoor garden with lots of spots to nap and read. The swimming pool was divine after all day of biking the island. Bikes were available both electric and regular. La Couarde is a good midway point for daily biking on safe bike routes. Florence and Rémy were the BEST hosts: inviting, helpful with daily excursion suggestions that we followed. We felt so welcomed.
