The host is super nice and helpful. The property is clean, lovely and family friendly. The host family lives upstairs and gave us a welcome at the front door and showed us the rooms. We had the entire ground floor including a living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The included breakfast was simple but sufficient.

Can only recommend this accommodation: 1) friendly host with great connections willing to help you book your trips and tickets; 2) solid wifi; 3) warm water in the bathrooms; 4) DELICIOUS breakfast; 5) Excellent location a convenient 1 minute stroll away from the ferry location when you arrive on the quiet Elephantine island - yes the road is unpaved and the chicken roam free in the area but you are located along the water and it always felt very safe.

The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, and the place is so peaceful—it’s the perfect spot to relax. Ahmed and his family go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality! I truly hope more people get the chance to experience this incredible place and meet such lovely people. ❤️
