The Mango Guest House is set in Aswan, 700 metres from Aswan Christian Cathedral and 1 km from El-Tabia Mosque. The location is wonderful. There are no cars on the island, so it is very relaxing and peaceful. The hosts are very friendly. The rooms are large, clean and the bed is comfortable. They organized a private trip to Abu Simbel for us and we had a great time. The breakfast is very tasty. I highly recommend!

We had a warm welcome, the staff are all excellent, very hospitable and helpful. The rooms were clean and the view picturesque. The Island has a nice and relaxed nubian vibe. There is a nearby grocery store that is very convenient and delicious restaurants nearby serving nubian food. For anyone wondering. It is easy to reach by boat at al hours either by public or private boat and if you are uncertain ask the guest House and they will help you out. They also helped us arrange experiences in the area such as Abu Simbel and boat rides. I can recommend taking a boat ride with some of the young guys working here to the nubian Village i.e. They also have a very good breakfast at a resonable price.

The place was really clean and the staff were immensely helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed: from transport (even at 3am) to a felucca ride.

Ahmed was extremely helpful and kind, he gave us advice on what to see in Aswan and how to go there. The breakfast was included, typical Egyptian breakfast but you will always taste something different and delicious. Can’t recommend the place enough and will definitely be back whenever I get the chance

The staffs were very nice and the food was great! Kafana helped us arrange a private transport to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price, gave complimentary rides to their motor boat and even checked in on us to make sure we made it safely to our destination. Great hospitality at great value!
