The staff (in particular the lady on reception) was so friendly and helpful. We loved having breakfast to the room, the food was delicious, and the spa facilities were great too. Situated in Český Krumlov, 500 metres from Castle Český Krumlov and 200 metres from the centre, Penzion KOVÁRNA features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a shared lounge. Great communication with Klara before we arrived , only sorry I didn’t get to meet her when we were there.We had Room No 1 which had 1 flight of stairs too it was large and had a nice view out the front of the property and the beds were extremely comfortable and the room and bathroom had all been tastefully renovated and so clean and modern . The pension was very close and east go get to from the bus station and was only a few minute walk away to the busy old town square .The location was perfect ! The checkin was via a code at the front door which was easy to manage .Breakfast was in a lovely self serve breakfast room with plenty to choose from there was also a fridge and tea and coffee to help your self at any time as well as wine glasses and water ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again !

Pension Krajinská 27 is situated in České Budějovice, 27 km from Main Square in Český Krumlov. We absolutely loved this pension! Great location, just down the street from the historic main square. Lovely big room (2) overlooking the courtyard and restaurant below but it was nice and quiet. White, all newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Nice little touches like fresh chilled bottles of water, special coffees, lavender in the wardrobe, a recycling container etc. Although there’s no air-con, there’s a fan for the hotter days. It was easy to arrange everything with our host, Jana, and although we didn’t meet in person, she was very communicative throughout our stay, making sure we were happy. The restaurant and microbrewery downstairs is really great. We ate there twice and thoroughly enjoyed the food and beer. The waiting team are so friendly and helpful. The very kind waiter who showed us to our room also helped us carry our bags up the steep flight of stairs. Krajinská street has everything on it we needed: a small supermarket for breakfast supplies, bars, restaurants, gelaterias. There’s an all-night restaurant across the road in case you get peckish at 2am!
