It is such a unique beautiful place to stay surrounded by a ring of mountains and at the foot of the massive volcano. There are so many beautiful hiking trails and places to explore and it is stunning to have the green grapes growing against the red and black lava rock. The stars at night are spectacular. The hosts, Cicilio and his family are so kind and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. The location couldn’t be better and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

It is better than the pictures.There's always a breeze from the sea, the pool is refreshing, the view of the volcano and the sea at the same time just stunning. Pipi and her family/team are perfect hosts. We are vegetarians and didn't expect much, then we had three super nice dinners and the most beautiful breakfasts with lots of possibilities. Really hope to go back there some day.

I was upgraded to a room with balcony facing the sea. Absolutely delightful sight. Very quiet hotel with everything you need. Of course it's very impersonal, a generic hotel room, so if you're looking for an authentic Cabo Verdian experience this is not for you, but if you're looking for a clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable place to rest, it is perfect. The cleanliness was not perfect but was pretty good ; nothing too problematic. The AC is a huge advantage!

Domingas is an amazing host that helped with many things. The room is really comfortable. Breakfast is good. Wifi is fast. Close to restaurants, bars and walking distance to tourist sites.

Nice large room, basic furniture but adequate and practical, fairly quiet, clean and tidy. The hotel has charm as does the entire town of Sao Felipe. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Restaurant service at the sister hotel very slow at times.
