The location was excellent, just a 20 minute walk or very short drive into the town. Nice view, beautiful sky at night. The hosts are wonderful. They provided us with local coffee and fruits for breakfast and gave us great tips for exploring the area (in areas with less tourism and crowds). It's so close to the cloud forests and other nature reserves. The coffee in town was the best coffee I've ever had in my life! Take the recommendations of the hosts! We loved staying here.

Situated just 1.2 km from La Macha Beach, Casas Guaney, full furnished studios! offers accommodation in Manuel Antonio with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a concierge service. Lovely apartment, had everything I needed, good kitchen, including blender to make smoothies, spacious, nicely decorated, very cosy. Nice little private garden, where two parrots made their nest in the tree. Communication with host was fine, although mostly with app, no personal contact. My worry was that it would be inconvenient without a car, but that was no problem at all: you can walk to the main road, where there are frequent buses to the national parc and Manuel Antonio beach. I found it also easy to hitchhike when I missed the bus, parc and beach are the end of the road, and all cars go there. Teva hostel is near (walking distance) and has a nice (Moroccan) restaurant.

Situated in Uvita, 13 km from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, Hotel Daleese features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. It was incredibly pleasant stay! The host makes sure that you've got everything you need, he's very attentive and helpful, will surprise you with cold ice tea while you're chilling by the pool and give you very good tips about the area :) I was solo backpacking and this was a perfect spot to get a bit of privacy and tranquility during my travels. The studio apartment I was at has got everything you need! Very clean and neat modern interiors, I'd say with a bit of the European touch :) And the coffee machine serving Britt coffee is just a cherry on the top! The only 'downside' might be a location (a bit far from the beach) but you can easily take a taxi to move around. Otherwise, the pool is always a great solution if you don't feel like going out! To summarize - I can highly recommend!

The room decoration is basic, some furnitures are basic, but the room and kitchen were well equipped. This is a nice place to stay at and the host is very nice.

Boasting garden views, Selva Linda Lodge vacation rentals provides accommodation with balcony, around 7.7 km from Manuel Antonio National Park. It was in a unique location, overlooking the jungle. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and private. Close to the chocolate tour and far away from the hustle and bustle of Quepos.

Karandi Hostel ligger i Uvita, 700 meter fra Uvita-stranden, og har en hage, avgiftsfri, privat parkering og en terrasse. Gjestgiveriet har familierom. This place is perfect for solo travelers on a budget. It is very clean and has everything you need. Staff was very nice. Really liked the garden and its hamacs. There’s even a few weights if you wanna work out. Iguanas and birds are everywhere ! You might even spot a caiman sunbathing near the pond if you’re lucky 😉 Also, the restaurant has great food and cocktails ! Would definitely go back. Pura vida !

Located within 1.2 km of Marina Pez Vela and 22 km of Rainmaker Costa Rica in Quepos, Casa Quepos provides accommodation with seating area. Verten var veldig hyggelig, og gjorde alltid sitt beste for å hjelpe oss. Rommet var fint og det var positivt med kjøkken og med stue.
