The location was excellent, just a 20 minute walk or very short drive into the town. Nice view, beautiful sky at night. The hosts are wonderful. They provided us with local coffee and fruits for breakfast and gave us great tips for exploring the area (in areas with less tourism and crowds). It's so close to the cloud forests and other nature reserves. The coffee in town was the best coffee I've ever had in my life! Take the recommendations of the hosts! We loved staying here.

Situated just 1.2 km from La Macha Beach, Casas Guaney, full furnished studios! offers accommodation in Manuel Antonio with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a concierge service. Lovely apartment, had everything I needed, good kitchen, including blender to make smoothies, spacious, nicely decorated, very cosy. Nice little private garden, where two parrots made their nest in the tree. Communication with host was fine, although mostly with app, no personal contact. My worry was that it would be inconvenient without a car, but that was no problem at all: you can walk to the main road, where there are frequent buses to the national parc and Manuel Antonio beach. I found it also easy to hitchhike when I missed the bus, parc and beach are the end of the road, and all cars go there. Teva hostel is near (walking distance) and has a nice (Moroccan) restaurant.

Jose and Jennifer are the best! coffee farm tour was informed and inspired. cabins were lovely. food was beautiful. everything is done with love and kindness….highly recommended!!!

Situated in Uvita, 13 km from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, Hotel Daleese features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. It was incredibly pleasant stay! The host makes sure that you've got everything you need, he's very attentive and helpful, will surprise you with cold ice tea while you're chilling by the pool and give you very good tips about the area :) I was solo backpacking and this was a perfect spot to get a bit of privacy and tranquility during my travels. The studio apartment I was at has got everything you need! Very clean and neat modern interiors, I'd say with a bit of the European touch :) And the coffee machine serving Britt coffee is just a cherry on the top! The only 'downside' might be a location (a bit far from the beach) but you can easily take a taxi to move around. Otherwise, the pool is always a great solution if you don't feel like going out! To summarize - I can highly recommend!

The room decoration is basic, some furnitures are basic, but the room and kitchen were well equipped. This is a nice place to stay at and the host is very nice.

Boasting garden views, Selva Linda Lodge vacation rentals provides accommodation with balcony, around 7.7 km from Manuel Antonio National Park. It was in a unique location, overlooking the jungle. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and private. Close to the chocolate tour and far away from the hustle and bustle of Quepos.

Featuring a balcony with garden views, a garden and a bar, Karandi Hostel can be found in Uvita, close to Uvita Beach and 14 km from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary. This place is perfect for solo travelers on a budget. It is very clean and has everything you need. Staff was very nice. Really liked the garden and its hamacs. There’s even a few weights if you wanna work out. Iguanas and birds are everywhere ! You might even spot a caiman sunbathing near the pond if you’re lucky 😉 Also, the restaurant has great food and cocktails ! Would definitely go back. Pura vida !

Located within 1.2 km of Marina Pez Vela and 22 km of Rainmaker Costa Rica in Quepos, Casa Quepos provides accommodation with seating area. Location was very close to the bus station and everything you need, grocery store, bank, restaurants, etc. William and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming even considering the mild language barrier. delicious breakfast too! Cameras only around the proximity of the outside of the property made us feel safe
