As far as we know, Rafael has two passions: 1. the night sky (and sharing his great knowledge of it with you, if you’re interested), and 2. ensuring you enjoy your time in the valley and at the casa. If you let them, they’ll make you feel a part of their own family. And besides that, the views are beautiful too. Especially at night. It’s an awesome place if you love nature and want some time to relax. Please be kind to Gloria & Rafael, and I’m 100% sure they will return that kindness a thousand fold!

Lovely place in the sweet town vicuña. We stayed four days. It is close to the main plaza and all the restaurants. The apartment is perfect for two people. It is very spacious and has a neat interior. We enjoyed it a lot!

Good location - close to the tourist centre, and only ~15 min to the ocean beach, where the famous lighthouse is located. The area (at least now, in the winter) is super quiet and empty. There are very friendly dogs in the hostel and a beautiful patio, very nice to spend time there.
I really enjoyed the great location that the Hostel is, the staff (Javier) he was amazing and very solicitous and the room was great too. Everything that we need to do was pretty close, so we were very comfy with that.
The staff was great! Helping with any needs, had suggestions where to rent a bike cheap and the hostel is close to the city centre. And they had great stuff in their kitchen for free use (cofee, oats, cuttlery, etc). Gracias a uds por su buenissima atención 🤗
A unique experience where you can truly sleep under the stars in a place that is magical and has one of the world’s best night sky to be seen. Max the owner is truly a great host and goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend a stay here to see the magical display of stars and relax in a spiritually replenishing environment.
The hostess, or the lady that runs the facility was extremely nice. She had breakfast ready and it's a wonderful home with rooms. The bathroom was very clean, and hot water! Internet worked great. Way better and cheaper than the hostels in the area. I'm sure you'll love it. They don't speak English, but hey just use Google translate. They even do your laundry.
Very nice hosts. Amazing stargazing opportunities right in front of our room. Great location to visit Vicuña and the Valle del Elqui while avoiding the big crowds
This was a great place to stay, just a short walk to the central square in Pisco Elqui. The hostal owner was really easy to contact and extremely friendly and welcoming. He even showed us his collection musical instruments, which we really appreciated. There was a nice outside space and cooking/eating facilities, it was quiet at night and there was even a hammock just outside our room. The room was basic but was clean had everything we needed.
Great location, very close to the beach and not too far from Guanaqueros town. Also, place is very quiet and has a nice view to the beach. In addition to kitchen and utensils, each unit counts with a grill where you can make your own barbeque.
Somehow, everything about this place is just right. It is a small, quiet guesthouse with very comfortable rooms, a lovely, shared kitchen, and an overall great atmosphere. Victor is also as gracious a host as anyone could ever hope for.
