We recently stayed at a wonderful Airbnb-style accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, and had a fantastic experience. The host, Renata, was amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us. She was very kind and helpful, which made our stay incredibly pleasant. For her attentive hosting, I give the property a solid 10. Our group of six found the space a bit tight, but the beds were okay. Despite being there in winter, it was still hot, and we were grateful that the AC worked great. The kitchen was comfortable and well-equipped, even though we didn’t cook. Renata offered snacks and toiletries for purchase, which was very handy as we needed several items she provided. We enjoyed watching TV, especially a Copa America game that Argentina won. The bathrooms were adequate, though a bit small. The neighborhood is a humble, suburban area with views of the big buildings downtown. It might be a bit shocking for people from wealthier countries due to the mix of humble shack-like houses and lovely modern homes. However, I felt safe and appreciated that my kids could experience different ways people live up close. Our driver assured us it was a safe area despite being humble. At night, I could hear a dog barking, but it wasn’t loud enough to keep me awake. In the morning, a rooster crowed early, but it didn’t wake my kids. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Foz do Iguaçu.

Situated in Morretes, Pousada Trilha da Serra has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and free WiFi. Private parking is available on site. At the inn, every room is fitted with a wardrobe. Very close to the town center, the river, the shops, and restaurants. It was easy to find.

Set in Cascavel in the Parana region, Pousada Jardim do Lago features a garden. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi. The place is run by a family that made us feel right at home during our stay. It is located behind a restaurant/café, which was closed on the weekend we were there, but it is the same restaurant where the breakfast was served. Located within walking distance to Cascavel lake, and not that far from where the city pubs and restaurants are. The street is quiet and calm, where we had no problem leaving the car parked unnatended all night. The attention to detail is what surprised me the most with the spotless cleaning and well-groomed plants in the property.

Rodrigo is a very nice person to have conversation with and helpful with all questions and information you might need. During the week it is extremely calm and on the weekend you have a lot of people. We would always come back and recommend this lovely place!

Cris is an amazing lady and her Pousada is lovely. She personally helped me with a health problem for which I'm eternally grateful. Breakfast is fantastic! I really enjoyed my stay and will return!😁

Pousada Falls Park in Foz do Iguaçu provides accommodation with a bar, a garden and a terrace. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Everyone who works here is very kind and helpful. One of our checked bags got lost by the airline and we asked if they could keep an eye out for it to be delivered. They helped us and even brought the bag to our room when it arrived. They also helped us arrange transport to the Argentinian side of the falls and showed us the best routes to take. The location is also beautiful and perfect for getting to the Parque das Aves and the Brazilian falls.

Pousada e Chalé Lote 22, a property with a bar, is located in Ilha do Mel, 400 metres from Farol Beach, 400 metres from Istmo Beach, as well as 800 metres from Limoeiro Beach. Great location, not far from the beach and close enough to restaurants and markets. Staff is extremely nice and friendly, everyone made us feel super welcomed. Breakfast is great and has options for all tastes. They offer paddle board, beach umbrellas and chairs free of charge, which is lovely! We tried their burger and the lunch buffet and everything tasted delicious!
