Set in Mount Gambier and with Blue Lake reachable within 2 km, Mount Gambier Hotel offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Checkin is at the bar, all went fine. There's a big parking lot you can use behind the hotel. There was a slight mishap with our room, which was however handled in a very professional way and immediately corrected. The room is quite large and rather new, with a big bathroom and ample space for our luggage. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs with a nice choice of wines and there's also the possibility to order a breakfast in the morning. The location is right in the middle of downtown, perfect to walk around the city but the rooms are really quiet, even though the main road is just next to the hotel. Loved the town itself, there's a lot of history here, but also interesting geology in downtown and close by with the lakes. Worth a stop.

Great very cosy cottage with modern bathroom and really everything you can imagine. Never felt so spoiled during a stay (snacks, family games, hot chocolate station, face masks etc). Just a warm blanket for really relaxing time.

Beautiful cottage in the owners' beautiful garden, so woken up by the birds. Strathalbyn is a lovely small town, with plenty of places to eat. We were provided with all we needed for a full breakfast.

Attention to detail to ensure your stay is comfortable. Our host was so helpful in sharing information to help us arrange a Taxi to pick us up for our winery lunch. Perfect place to relax as you soak up this beautiful region.

The place is in the center of the town. Make it easier to access other facilities, restaurants, and shops. Susie owner is nice enough to take us go around to see the wildlife.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 47 km from Port Lincoln Marina.... Everything was perfect. The best super king bed. Great well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Helpful owners. A recently renovated guest house situated in Burra, Gardenhouse on George features a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. I liked the creative, artistic vibe of the cottage. It was also immaculately clean, quality bathroom products and interesting objects. Priced very reasonably. I gave it 'fabulous'!
