This is my second visit and truly, there will be a third. This beach on the island is so nice. Tranquility at its best but with the convenience of choice close by.
The food at Barefoot is SO good. Sam and Toi and the offical boss, Suzy the dog are brilliant. So kind and helpful and even gifted me some precious Yorkshire Tea which belonged to them for my morning tea. A gift that only a true English soul could understand the importance of.
The room is lovely. We didn’t have air conditioning and we didn’t need it at all. In fact, it was bliss not having it.
The beach is clean and the sea is warm.
The shower comes with shower gel, shampoo AND conditioner which is really rare and very much appreciated.
My only regret is not booking a longer stay… which happened last time so I should have known better!

The room is nice and the bed very comfortable.
The owners are very kind and helpful, they brought me by motobike at the pier to grab my return ferry :)
Well located, close from the beach (10 minutes by walking, much less by scooter)
Their restaurant dishes are tasty and not expensive
A great stay, I recommand

A simple bungalow for a great price in a spectacular location. We loved the hammock, little desk and simplicity of it all. Sea swimming was great

The place is truly enchanting. The family who run it does a great job in taking care and keep this little paradise so clean and preserved. Full immersion in the tropical nature, lots of flowers, butterflies, birds and proximity with the sea. One of the most beautiful places I saw in my life.

The location is excellent, next to a good beach that’s suitable for swimming a couple of hours either side of high tide.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
I loved the hostel, it was a short walk away from the beach. Beds were very comfy and the dorm was pretty quiet. The hostel was very clean and is a great place if you travel alone and want to get to know other people. You have a lot of places to hang out in the hostel area. They provide free drinking water and lots of different food and drinks. I think this has been one of the best hostels I’ve been to so far!
Great location on the Bay, very near to fantastic restaurants and bars. Loved that this resort though was peaceful and quiet, and that the lights went low in the evening! Grounds were amazingly maintained, and it was great to watch all the wildlife from the deck. Bungalow was clean, comfortable and well-presented. Staff were friendly, and incredibly helpful. Recommend in a heartbeat.
The cheapest place in Phayham but it's good enough for the price. I stayed for almost two weeks. The owner seems to never be around but there is a lady wondering around who doesn't speak english but surely you'll find her very charming and helpful, she even did my laundry. Also the hostel has a common area in front with 2 hammocks and free water. Surely you'll meet other amazing people staying here. Don't forget to bring your own lock if you want to use the lock.
Great location away from the street and bars. Still close to the main pier. Very quiet and peaceful with great sunrise. It was also great to have a pool since the ocean was not so good for swimming. The staff was very friendly and Chai helped us so much with everything. Thank you!
The staff were very helpful, the garden view is very quiet, clean, great location. When we are coming back, we are choosing this accomodation. Loved it!
Om and Ing the owners are amazing and interact with all the guests, the hostel has good vibes and energy and the people staying there soon become part of a koh payam family as soon as you walk in. went to stay for two days and ended up staying for 10 days. great location near restaurants and bars and lets you know what events are happening on in the evenings. people that don’t even stay at the hostel go there to drink and chill because it is just a VIBE. Also close to longbeach.
