It was really nice that we could schedule our breakfast according to our plans for the day. The hosts were absolutely flexible, we could even have dinner on days when the restaurant was generally closed. Our room was super-cozy, and it was tidied up every day.
It is easy to reach many of Slovenia's sights from here by car, but be careful, trips may last a little bit longer than estimated by Google/Waze due to roadblocks and long serpentines.

We would 100% recommend staying at Guesthouse Urša! The host is more than adorable and welcoming person - she made us feel like home :) We were lucky to meet her and know all kind of tips&tricks for travelling in Slovenia. Guesthouse is located in a beautiful area near the local lake.
Rooms were clean and tidy, had everything that is needed. There is also a shared area where you can find washing machine, fridge and other kitchen utensils.

I totally recomand it! The host, Sasha, is wonderful, she waited for us even if we arrived very late. The room was perfect, very modern and new, it is smelling like fresh wood, very clean, you have a mini fridge and you have the opportunity to taste some local wines and drinks, parking is free. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of chooses, fresh fruits also. It was the best accommodation we had in Slovenia! Bonus:the house is located in a chic mountain village!
An excellent guesthouse by the river in Skofja Loka, a quiet and pretty town that is well located for visiting the lakes, mountains and main city. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast room decorated in a modern mountain chalet style and the overall impression is one of good quality with attention to detail. Breakfast was very pleasant. The biggest bonus are the owners - charming, friendly people who are also great for advice on activities and places to dine locally.
Great location, close enough to walk to dining areas but also very quiet. Host was very friendly and helpful - providing secure lock up for our bikes and ebike charging facilities. The breakfast was excellent and everything was done with a smile. We really enjoyed staying here.

Marko is a great host, he is very friendly and helpful. He gave us many recommendations about the location and told us a lot about Slovenian history and society. Although our kitchen was partly under reconstruction, Marko was ready to prepare for us immediately everything we needed. And the home-made cakes as well as the cherry juice were great! The location is quiet, it is in the suburbs, it took some 20 mins of walk to the center of the city.
