Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great location in Chinatown. Very comfortable bed and facilities were cleaned everyday. Lots of signs around the hostel to let you know how things work and when quiet hours are.
easy communication, great location, room is nice and clean, small (as expected) but have everything we need. Highly recommended. Thanks for Maica, Mary and Nina for your great hosting
Location was great! Right on the charming and lively arab street with lots of restaurants and boutiques. The area was busy (especially on the weekend) but the pods were cozy and quiet.
I booked here cause I just arrived in Asia from Europe and wanted to have a few nights of comfortable stay before going to hostel/guesthouse life, and that’s exactly what it was. Nice and clean room, I asked for a quiet one and the staff immediately helped with that. I loved the gym and the pool too, lovely and very clean (a must in this weather). Helpful staff when getting around the city and always welcoming and warm. All in all a great stay.
Great location for exploring central Singapore.
Pretty comfy for a pod hostel, the shelve in the unit is at a pretty awkward height but that doesn't matter much.
Definitely not the cheapest area, but good for a night out. More happy hours on this street than the rest of Singapore put together I think.
Great location, close to metro station & great food court with quite cheap and tasty Asian food. Great advantage - free laundry in hostel. Bathrooms are clean. The biggest unpleasant surprise for me - extreme cool in room, we slept in warm pyjamas + 2 blankets (thanks for extra blankets). Overall - good hostel for reasonable price.
