It is a family run business. The place was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. One had access to a kitchen, BBQ area and beautiful gardens. The breakfasts were also delicious with homemade baked goods, jams, fruit and other treats. I would highly recommend this place and gladly return.

A nice place close to the airport and the city centre. The room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was good and tasty. The best part, however, was our hosts, Leo and Ni: they were extremely nice and helpful and we enjoyed our short stay twice as much thanks to them.

As soon as you step through the small gate in the door of this property, you enter peace and serenity. The courtyard is lush with plants and trees and a fountain. You immediately know you are somewhere special. Eduarda welcomed us at the door, showed us to our room and then gave us a tour of the beautiful property. Our room was called the Studio and looked out on to the courtyard. Then she took us into the completely refurbished mansion which is always open for yr use and convenience. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the rain shower with skylight in our bathroom was wonderful. In the afternoon we sat by the pool and/or used the sauna. It was the perfect stay at one of the nicest properties we've visited in a year of travel. The breakfast buffet (with eggs cooked to order) was sumptuous. Freshly baked breads, fresh island fruits, homemade smoothies-- everything and more served in a large farm-style kitchen. Unique and very special. Thank you for the homemade birthday cake and the Bolos Lêvedos for the trip home! This property is a rare jewel. 11/10 We can't wait to return! Obrigado!

The accomodation was very comfortable and well furnished. There even was a welcome package and extra towels for the hot springs.
The host Cristina was very friendly and helpful. Each morning she brought us fresh bread to the apartment. Cristina made sure that we don‘t miss anything.

We enjoyed our stay there so much. The studio was beautiful and well equipped. We loved the quirky interior design. The breakfast had everything from chia pudding, granola, fresh fruit, smoothies to eggs and cheese. The wonderful garden was the perfect place for a wonderful yoga session with Maria. We even gave table tennis a try. Both hosts Maria and Tanis went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Absolute perfect but quiet location, historic house with character, nicely renovated. With a shared kitchen with al equipment you need to prepare your own breakfast of a simple meal. Friendly host gave us a lot of information.
We felt like we were at home! Mareike was a wonderful host. She clearly explained all of the ins and outs of the house and introduced us to other guests. She gave us lots of suggestions about visiting the island and even helped us navigate a health issue. We highly recommend this quiet retreat, centrally located on the island. We will be back!
Orlando is a great host, with a really nice guest house in a perfect location to visit the island. The room was spacious for two people, with a spacious private bathroom. The shared kitchen is well equipped for anything you would need over the vacation. (We stayed at a private room. There is also a separate apartment in the house, with a private kitchen I believe.)
