Wonderful to stay in Monsanto and really take time to experience the town. Wonderful host that despite speaking little English was very helpful in booking us dinner, making us a beautiful breakfast and transported our bags up and down the hill in her little car. It would NOT be possible to stay in Monsanto without this help it’s just too hilly! Comfy bed, spacious apartment very dark and quiet at night. Easy access to walk to castle first thing in morning. Amazing little stone casa/suite decorated with taste and thought in every "touch", incredibly comfy bed with lovely linens, peaceful & idyllic setting (very quiet and away from it all 🙏), delicious breakfast, picking our own oranges (and the tastiest we've ever had), the fountain with mountain spring water for drinking, the Old Roman Road / path to the unbelievable village of Monsanto, and lovely hosts. Many thanks to Ingrid & her husband for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. 😊

Quiet and serene.Very comfortable bed and pillows.I slept very well.Beautiful views.Breakfast was amazing and plentiful.Delicious local cheese and hams.The rustic bread was still warm from the oven. The hostess is very sweet and friendly, down to earth and helpful. I highly recommend staying here, I will be booking again.
