Highly recommend this cosy guesthouse, felt like a home away from home. Everything was great, very clean and well equipped. Nice meeting and chatting to the other guests there. Very close to the whale departure meeting point.

Beautiful location. Can watch sunset from the property. Not to many options nearby but about a 5-10 minute drive to a town with more food options.

We loved staying at Residence Vainau Moorea! Kihi (the host) was so friendly and always helped us with every single question we had. Our little Bungalow was clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable, you can watch the sunset at the little bay near the Residence. We really appreciated our time there and if we ever come back to Moorea we will stay here again!

The owners are super lovely. They made me feel very at home and were very polite and friendly. Very easy to communicate with, via WhatsApp before arriving and during the stay they were happy to be on standby for any other needs. They’re a lovely couple with a daughter and cats and a dog and the whole vibe feels nice. The property is about 5-10 minutes drive from the main Super U supermarket around cooks bay which is great if you need supplies. The location is fantastic if you like to be amongst the hills. Loved this property. The location is excellent and Poe was friendly and helpful. The kayaks and snorkelling were easy to access and the beach was literally ten metres from the verandah. Private sunbathing, easy access and comfortable spot. I would recommend this to anyone. The highlight for the family was the dog, Choupinette who was the sweetest girl.

We loved the layout of the home and the swing on the deck. The lagoon a few meters down the beach was also wonderful for swimming all together each morning.

Great and welcoming host - Merci Claude! We really enjoyed that the hotel has a beachfront and we went for a quick wonder at night. They have kayaks and bikes to use for free which is pretty cool! There is a shared kitchen area, but they only offer breakfast, so I suggest bringing your own snacks. If you are looking for some night entertainment please be aware that this is a very quiet area, so maybe not for you!
Jing is a great host. It had great access to the lagoon with canoes & SUP plus the pool.
Plus you could hire bikes to get around.

Hosts live on site with their adorable 2 children and 4 dogs and 3 cats .Don't worry they are quiet and respectful and so are their animals .Beautiful gardens, lovely pool ,outdoor barbecue area ,kayaks to use free if charge , cooking facilities in each bungalow with small patio area ,washing machine for a small fee ,fresh bananas 🍌 home away from home 🏡 Thank you we had a lovely time

Great hosts, very welcoming and helpful, there is a puppy and 2 cats on the property - which was great for us. The room is actually a granny flat that gives enough privacy- very clean and has everything you need. No AC but the fans did the job so not a big deal. Great location close to Sofitel and public beach (8 min walk), close to ferry, shops but you need a bike (like anywhere on the island)

Amazing house, big pool, many spacious rooms, stunning paintings, pool table, very local and great hosts!
Also loved the animals, the beach access and free kayaks.

Moorea island beach hotel is something else 35 min drive from ferry terminal worth the wait.. the hosts are unmatched and the location is where everyone else on the island pays to get to! Swim with turtles 100m from the hotel. Bike to the local restaurants or even stroll a few meters down the street bonus was full scale kitchen to make your own snacks lunch or dinner. Rooms perfect for a quiet get away comfy beds and plenty of room
Great hosts... like family! Clean, comfortable, had everything I needed and more. Great location... close to the beach, close to the mountains, the store, the ferry, etc... 5 stars.
