Highly recommend this cosy guesthouse, felt like a home away from home. Everything was great, very clean and well equipped. Nice meeting and chatting to the other guests there. Very close to the whale departure meeting point.

Oh, everything. Location perfect and idyllic. Quiet,. It was not cheap, but for what we had, it was great value for money, and certainly competitively priced. We had the whole house to ourselves, but it's ideal for a group of 6. Sharks and rays swim close to the shore, just below the terrace, and there's plenty of good coral in that lagoon.
Absolutely spellbinding view from the upstairs room (we didn't go into the downstairs rooms).
People running it are so lovely. Helpful, welcoming, happy to share their company. Florence is charming and a great cook.She will make you a 3 course meal for the price of a starter elsewhere. Sylvian and Pierre great company too, and so helpful.

Our bungalow was clean and well equipped with a kitchen, kettle, fridge, fan, television, and AC. The property has nice areas to chill including a pool and a hammock under some trees.
The location is beautiful and peaceful and is protected from the easterly winds, but is not close to the main tourist areas/towns on the island so you will need a vehicle to get around. There’s a roulotte right next door for typical local dinner, and an excellent local seafood restaurant a few minutes down the road.
Finally the hosts Marie-Do and Didier are lovely - they were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

I really loved this property, the staff and location were amazing. There’s a great restaurant on site which overlooks the private beach as well as other places to eat nearby. The dormitory was very comfortable and not too hot at night. The beach was good and you have free access to kayaks, great sunset spot too!

The view is amazing! The place is quiet! I slept with the door open facing the sea! The people were very polite and helpful! The manager was very kind. I stayed for 5 nights and wished I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be back!

The apartment is charming, clean, and comfortable. The pool offers a beautiful sea view, which is a great bonus. Having parking right in front of the room is very convenient if you rent a car. Additionally, the location is perfect for exploring the island.
Excellent location close to the public beach, restaurants and a small supermarket. Very much a holiday/beach house with super outdoor living - covered decks with day bed, outdoor furniture. Very clean and tidy, nice bathroom, comfy beds. Very good communications with host, clear entry instructions and prompt replies to queries. Host speaks good English.
Loved how close we were to a great swimming beach, where we visited every evening for sunset. And could see the ocean from our deck. Great location with lots of nice eateries nearby.

Lovely spot with a nice beach with awsome sunsets, great for a cool off spot but too shallow for snorkeling. Ice cream shop over the road fabulous. Marie was a beautiful lady who was a great host and her husband a lovely man.
The owners made our stay so special! They are wonderful hosts. La Pirogue is a very charming place where to stay and enjoy the pure contact with nature.
My friend and I stayed here 5 nights and liked it a lot. It is located a little outside the “city” and a scooter or car is needed. We rented a scooter with Kihiraii and it was easy and very good. Kihiraii is always availible and quick to answer at Whatsapp and just a great host.
