Oh, everything. Location perfect and idyllic. Quiet,. It was not cheap, but for what we had, it was great value for money, and certainly competitively priced. We had the whole house to ourselves, but it's ideal for a group of 6. Sharks and rays swim close to the shore, just below the terrace, and there's plenty of good coral in that lagoon. Absolutely spellbinding view from the upstairs room (we didn't go into the downstairs rooms). People running it are so lovely. Helpful, welcoming, happy to share their company. Florence is charming and a great cook.She will make you a 3 course meal for the price of a starter elsewhere. Sylvian and Pierre great company too, and so helpful.

My daughter stayed with host Murielle for three nights and four days and her hospitality was truly exceptional! She experienced the real Moorea & French Polynesian culture of kindness, care and hospitality from Murielle and other local people. Staying at Fare Mihimana was a pleasure, being able to rest and relax in a beautifully furnished guestroom with everything you need, and it was nestled in a tropical garden paradise. Murielle gave some fruits growing in her garden to eat in a fruit bowl on the dining table. Fare Mihimana is located within a short walking distance of the ferry dock at Vai'are which is so handy with lots of services, shops, supermarket, eateries close by. Murielle gave great tips on visiting local spots and helped organise taxi and recommended excursions and things to do on Moorea. My daughter will never forget her wonderful stay at Fare Mihimana. Very nice location in the heart of the Moorea mountains and very comfy, clean and nice bungalows. Situation with mosquitos is not so bad as you could expect. Owners provided us special antimosquito smokes for their use especially in the morning and it was ok. Personnel/owners were very kind, friendly and communicative. They could send a taxi for us when it was neccesary after our walk and hiking. They also prepared a great french breakfast with pancakes for us. We would like to come back once again and enjoy longer stay to spend more time in a swimming pool with a nice views on the Mountains.

Our bungalow was clean and well equipped with a kitchen, kettle, fridge, fan, television, and AC. The property has nice areas to chill including a pool and a hammock under some trees. The location is beautiful and peaceful and is protected from the easterly winds, but is not close to the main tourist areas/towns on the island so you will need a vehicle to get around. There’s a roulotte right next door for typical local dinner, and an excellent local seafood restaurant a few minutes down the road. Finally the hosts Marie-Do and Didier are lovely - they were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Relaxing and nestled in the forest. It felt a long way away from the sterile rooms of resorts. Our hosts were very kind and Phillips went out of his way to drive us when we missed our connecting tour bus for the lagoon tour. Lovely fresh breakfasts

Highly recommend this cosy guesthouse, felt like a home away from home. Everything was great, very clean and well equipped. Nice meeting and chatting to the other guests there. Very close to the whale departure meeting point.

I really loved this property, the staff and location were amazing. There’s a great restaurant on site which overlooks the private beach as well as other places to eat nearby. The dormitory was very comfortable and not too hot at night. The beach was good and you have free access to kayaks, great sunset spot too!
