Cozy, relaxing, and placed in a quiet and private setting. Just what we needed after such a hard few days. Surprisingly, it is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside with high ceilings. We love older homes, and there was so much character. A winner with all of us 😊 The morning train was awesome as well👌 👏 Thank you so much for being great hosts! We hope to visit again one day soon! Until then, take care and be safe 😊

We provided our own breakfast. The term ‘bed and breakfast’ is often a misrepresentation of what is provided in AirBNB accommodation. Not that in this case it mattered, we came prepared. We had the full use of kitchen facilities. We were invited into the cosy living room after returning from a meal, which was very nice of our hostess and her partner.

The house is a tastefully modernised villa in a nice quiet setting. Julie is an excellent host and made sure I was comfortable throughout. As Araluen Cottage is near the fringe of the township, it was so nice waking up to hear birdsong outside.

The cottage is behind the host's charming old cottage, with lovely garden surrounds. It was very quiet and peaceful and the hosts were lovely to interact with. We were able to park our car in the back yard right in front of the cottage. The amenities inside were good. He cottage has air conditioning which was appreciated.
