Wonderful hospitality from the owners, everything considered. Although our dog slept in our van (he likes it better lol) we were very grateful to find such an open and generous place to stay with regards to pets. So warm and cosy, generous breakfast provisions and great shower!

Gardeners' Cottage, hotel in Te Awamutu

Boasting garden views, Gardeners' Cottage provides accommodation with an open-air bath and a balcony, around 8.4 km from Hamilton Gardens.

From the get go this beautiful well priced cottage situated not far from the Hamilton gardens in Hamilton knocked it out of the park. Hosted by the lovely Michelle, this incredibly well kept and thought out accommodation was the perfect stop over during our New Zealand travels. Michelle had made sure we had all the necessary information about the property and surrounding areas, and was more than willing to help with any questions. The cottage itself blew us away, with a charming and quaint vibe with all the amenities you would need or want and you could feel the love and care put in to it. This hidden gem has made a lasting impression on myself and my partner and we wish we could have stayed longer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is our second time to this beautiful property. Parking: Outside the front door, plenty space to turn the vehicle around, and the ground it flat. Hosting: Friendly and great to talk too. Most places give you a code to get into the property and you never see the host person. Food: Tasty bread and fresh farm eggs Is a treat. Clean: Very clean property. Linen: Plenty towels, hand towels etc Warmth: 2 lovely heat pumps. Environment: Peaceful, quiet, comfortable, and much history in the Old School House. Equipment: Has everything.

This was such an awesome stay! Definitely glamping at it's best. The host was top tier, the entire caravan was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Because it's situated down a private driveway it was a nice and quiet stay. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try something a little different from the usual motel.
