Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Lovely quiet location, handy for everything, lovely breakfast (did not realise we were getting this), Bed was very comfortable, and the whole place was clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again
The cottage was great value for money, in a good location, quiet neighbourhood, it allowed us convenient travel to Matakana, Omaha and Tawharanui, where we managed to go boggy boarding at this time of year and catch some great waves. The host was really friendly and was most helpful when we left our chromecast behind and posted it to us.
Alan and Vanessa were lovely hosts. Lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby. Unit was spacious with everything you need. Loved how quiet it was and still so close to Goat island, Omaha, Matakana and Warkworth.
