Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location, traditional house, steps away from Bryggen, easy contact with the hosts, prompt response and open to our requests, bakery nearby, restaurants, the funicular station. We were able to use the washing machine upon request, the neighbourhood is quiet and lovely. The view from the top floor is great.
Really nice breakfast. Friendly host, comfy bed and great location. We arrived on Saturday and there was a bit of noise outside our window but as soon as we closed, it was completely quiet, amazing!
Very nice, new, modern and clean apartment with everything needed. Well equipped kitchen, nice and clean bathroom. We appreciated the washing machine/dryer. Good communication with the host - we received all information and instructions in advance. Great location, quiet with a good connection with the city centre (approx 7 minutes by tram) and with the airport (approx 35 minutes by tram), tram stop is 1 minute from the apartment.
Great place, very close to turistic destination, museums and the city center -in a walking distance. Very quiet and clean apartment, well equipted with all you need. The host is very reactive and helpful.
We travelled as a group of 5 friends and stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment. We all thought it was excellent. It's situated in an old house that has been renovated to a high standard. Great location as it's in a quiet residential street but only a short walk into the city centre. Large living/dining area. Beds were very comfortable and everything worked well.
Lovely cosy & traditional house. Great hosts.
It was equipped with everything you could need.
Great location, quiet but walkable to central
Bergen & frequent buses nearby.
