Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location - right on the Malecon. Restaurants very convenient. The restaurant next door is amazing. If you go - you must try the Short Ribs. In the Tacos OR the Short Rib plate - the Chef is amazing!
Modern - yet, charming. Rooms are very generous size. Very comfortable
Such a great location, south end of Malecon but a few blocks back so quieter. The apartment is comfortable with everything you need. Jerade is a friendly and attentive host.
This hostel is in quiet street, not far from Malecon and in waling distance within the city center, shops, restaurants and such. The beds were comfortable and had curtains. The rooms have A/C. It was chill and clean. I liked the back yard area.
Hostel located in a residential neighborhood, close to the beach. Nice and quiet common areas, especially the garden. I loved tacos nights and fresh fruit in the morning. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Recommended!
The apartment is in a great location, on a quiet street near the marina and walkable to the malecon. We loved the colourful decor. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful, and gracious when we asked for a late check out as we had a late flight.
Nice, big and clean apartment in a quiet area a bit outside of La Paz city center, but no problem with a car, which can be parked in the garage. The apartment had 2 bedrooms with AC, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. A big supermarket is 10 min away in walking distance.
The host, Hector, is very friendly and helpful.
Really lovely apartment, smart, modern and spotlessly clean. Excellent outdoor dining and seating area which is shared with one other apartment. Quiet location in residential area with shops and food outlets close by. On-street parking available. Friendly hosts. It’s about 45 minutes walk from the centre of La Paz but collectives run along the route for a cheap transport option.
I travelled alone, so I looked for a cheap, comfortable and safe place and Pension Baja Paradise was the right one! It's in a perfect position, next to the Malecòn and the city centre, there are bars and restaurants nearby. Truly recommended.
