The accommodation is a restored historic building with modern amenities. Beautifully decorated rooms with well equipped kitchen. The garden was a good reprieve from the sounds and the hustle of the city as we were there during Easter week. There are few units which adds to the privacy. I will be back.

Fabulous location in Guanajuato! On extremely central street but not next to anywhere too noisy so still able to get good night sleep. Street parades/ bands do sometimes go past but we loved these and they are a great part of Guanajuato!
Door has code for access so entrance quite discreet. Kitchen facilities were great and water filter on tap in kitchen was really nice to have. Room very clean and comfortable beds. Maid who works there was really sweet lovely lady! Very quick response from hotel staff via whatsapp for any questions/ queries.

Carmelita was very warm and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. The accommodation is an easy and safe walk into the centre of Guanajuato.

This is a great apartment. It is nicely refurbished with clean sheets, towels, shower. Shower has hot water and good pressure. It is quite large and was nice to have our own fridge, kettle microwave. Kitchen had enough plates etc for our needs. The view from the roof is great. The location is good, close to the Old Town but far enough away to be quiet. The host is very nice and helpful, Chek in was very easy and he let us in to our room early with advanced notice. It's a small uphill walk which is fine for us, but not all may agree.
It's very quiet and calm. I spend a lot of time on my room, sitting at the balcony and just thinking. The bed was comfy, maybe could use an extra blanket, I didn't ask but they would surely provide one. I had enough space for my things. Maybe it could use a small table, so I can sit at the balcony with my book and a cup of coffee jaja it was close to a lot of places en Guanajuato, like food, little park away from people. The host were super helpful with everything.
This place was such a delight. My favorite part was the charming old house, so full of character! The host was lovely, kind, and helpful. The location is great, just a two minute walk down to one of the main plazas. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for four more nights.
The hotel is very well located, in a quiet area, not too far driving from the bus terminal and on a walking distance from the Mercado Hidalgo and the historic centre. Room was clean and comfortable, with hairdryer. Breakfast was tasty, and the bread was better than elsewhere. And the mercado is near if you need extras like fresh fruits.
Sergio is super welcoming and make you feel like at home. You can use everything in the House which has everything you need for cooking or whatever you need. Moreover its one of the cheapest option in Town and is really worth it.
Great location, 5’ from city center but in a residencial area.
We slept on the couch which is in the living room, where another person is also sleeping. Nevertheless we knew that and there are some curtains that separate you from the rest of the room pretty well.
Room was a good size, well designed and clean. Kitchen was new with good appliances, although only one cooker so we did have to wait to cook at times. The area is slightly outside of the main zone but much preferred as it's quieter (there was a daily parade while we were there!). The hostel is at the start of the trail to hike La Bufa,and there's a lovely and cheap greengrocer within a 2m walk. Rooms were cleaned daily. The hostel was good for meeting other travellers.
Cactus Hostel is a very charming place and will make you feel like home very soon.
The house has a wonderful sun terrace , it’s in the quieter part of town but in walkable distance to everything. An artesanal bakery (Biga) is just a few meters away and the best coffee place in town El Gregario is 5 min up the hill.
Fresh coffee is made very morning, you have eggs, milk and juice for self service and the bed is comfortable and everything is well taken care off.
