Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Friendly and helpful staff. Small and quiet room with ac, fan and small fridge. Several spots around the place to relax including rooftop terrace. Great tips from the host to help you get around. The beach is very close by, less than 100 metres walk.
It’s a really nice and quiet place, the room was really beautiful and the beach nearby so nice!
There are a lot of cats and dogs, which was really cute😍
The breakfast was yummy and the hosts super friendly❤️
Lovely place in a very quiet village.
The staff very helpful and chilled, the room very nice and comfortable, great location and good price overall.
The communal area has a small kitchen and a fridge where you can keep your things cold.
Great stay!
The room has a good size as well as the bathroom. The bed. is comfy and the kitchen sufficiently equipped. If there is reception in the village, the internet works quite well for local condition. But most important: Marlon was such a great host!
Gracias por todo Marlon
Great, quiet spot to disconnect in a beautiful setting. The hotel is cute, the room is spacious and has all you need and only two minutes walk to the beach. Breakfast on the morning is delicious.
Joaquin, Marco and Nick are such great hosts and really make you feel welcomed and at home. They also provided great recommendations for dinner which made the stay even more enjoyable. Thanks chicos!
Quiet, comfortable hostel. Good company
There's a small kitchenette too, which I wasn't expecting.
Got spoiled by having the triple room to myself, its lovely and airy up on the terrace (more shade would be nice!)
Both the room and the bathroom are very nicely done up.
We had a delightful stay at Xtambaa in the Canela cabin. The charming cabin exuded a comforting cinnamon scent. The bed was the highlight of our Mexico trip, it was super comfortable. The location added to the overall appeal; close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Breakfast is included and served at Cafe Anahata, which is also hosted by Gustavo and his wife. Highly recommend Xtambaa for a memorable stay.
