Fantastic breakfast, such helpful hosts and the grounds are stunning. Having monkeys, monitor lizards, squirrels and the sound of birds all around you was incredible. We so valued staying slightly further inland as it meant you could go and retreat after the beach in a busy little town.

The administrator is always present and supportive of our needs. Breakfast was included and like a treat each morning.
For dinners it can be booked on the property and will be cooked specially for you., European Italian food , amazing dishes that not even one restaurant in the town rises up to the quality and goodness, I highly recommend

Great location for visiting the beach and bars. There is a kitchen on the second floor, we cooked seafood there. The room has a good and quiet air conditioner. responsive hosts. I recommend it 100 percent
Very spacious room, nice bathroom with extra towels for the swimming pool, mini kitchen with fridge, balcony with great view. Breakfast was excellent, the owner and the staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, very quiet but only 10 mins away from the beach and the city centre. Tharanga was the most amazing host , she went out of her way to make us feel at home and welcome. The guesthouse is beautiful, clean , spacious and so peaceful. Huge room and massive bed. Nice quiet setting and loved having breakfast served on our balcony each morning. Great hosts who were very helpful arranging early check out and ordering transport and a take away breakfast so we could catch the early train.
Nil is a great host. Friendly, generous and always there when you need help. He also makes great breakfast!
The butterfly jewel is located on a quiet street, but still just a few minute walk to the beach and buzz of Unawatuna.
We truly enjoyed the house porch and outdoor kitchen where we could relax with a cup of tea in the shade.

Great location, incredible ocean view. Nearby there is a grocery store, a cafe, a beach with turtles. You can also drive 10-15 minutes to the main beach. Friendly host, checked us in earlier than the marked time and helped with any questions. Breakfast was always fresh fruit, smoothies/coconut and scrambled eggs/sandwiches.
