The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on check in and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. The location is great- very near to Kegalle Town . I just finished 6 weeks traveling in Sri Lanka, and this was my favorite stay of the trip! To wake up to singing birds and the sun rising over the misty mountains - it’s absolute bliss. The rooms are spacious and immaculate: they have a tea kettle and tea/coffee, A/C, a large bathroom, and a private patio with stunning views. There is also a common area for lounging and dining on *delicious* meals made by the chef. Wije is a welcoming manager who will share his expert knowledge on the area and help you arrange a tuk tuk for exploring the many nearby temples. I loved the place so much I wanted to stay extra nights, but they were booked - so the property host helped me find a place to stay in Kandy. I was traveling alone, so I was especially grateful for the extra care that the property staff took to make me feel safe and at ease. Stay here if you’re looking for a break from the city and an immersion into the natural and cultural wonders of the region.

The property was beautifully tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city which is exactly what we were looking for. There was a beautiful river that ran right next to it. Our favourite part was waking up and enjoying our cup of Ceylon’s finest tea in our balcony overlooking the river where we could also spot a lot of birds.
The room was very clean, and comfortable to be in, and you could see that the manager was actually managing the property very well. The washroom had hot and cold water.
The host served an amazing breakfast for us before we departed. We can’t wait to come back.

The hosts were very gracious, kind, and hospitable. They made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The rooftop sitting area and balconies were also enjoyable. The apartment was very clean, and had facilities like a fridge, stove, and other kitchen essentials.

Great location, just in front of the orphanage and close to restaurants and other facilities. Super clean cozy room, friendly staff and tasty breakfast!

Amazing place, great host and the best breakfast we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. Room and all place very clean, surrounded by big and green garden. Strongly recommend that to stay in that place – you will not regret.
Everything was awesome. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, showed us around and did everything In their power and beyond to accomodate our requests. Location is very close to the elephants yet quiet and calm. Venue was clean, well equiped. Breakfast was awesome. Can’t express enough How awesome this accomodation is :)
Great location on the river, pool overlooking the elephants. I was there in off-season (May) so hotel was quiet, which was nice. Staff were friendly. Restaurant area open air, overlooking river.
