The bed was very comfortable, a nice view of the elephants at the orphanage when they are let out at 8:30am and just a 10 minute walk max to walk to the entrance. It’s right by some restaurants on the Main Street.

We are extremely happy we chose to stay at Kandy Guest House during our stay in Kandy. The location is serene which makes it perfect to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Our favorite part was relaxing at the balcony that overlooked the river. The staff were also very helpful with anything that you needed. The beds were one of the most comfortable we have slept in and the airconditioning worked great. It was certainly a home away from home.

Amazing place, great host and the best breakfast we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. Room and all place very clean, surrounded by big and green garden. Strongly recommend that to stay in that place – you will not regret.
Everything was awesome. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, showed us around and did everything In their power and beyond to accomodate our requests. Location is very close to the elephants yet quiet and calm. Venue was clean, well equiped. Breakfast was awesome. Can’t express enough How awesome this accomodation is :)
Great location on the river, pool overlooking the elephants. I was there in off-season (May) so hotel was quiet, which was nice. Staff were friendly. Restaurant area open air, overlooking river.
