I don’t have words to describe the beautiful Mailagama Cinnamon Residence.
Staff was super friendly and really helpful. We joined the copper dinner and it was simply amazing, we had dinner in the garden surrounded by the rice field - speechless!
The room was clean, hot water in the shower.
They arranged a safari for us and gave us a doggy bag with breakfast.
They also have an immense rice and spicy field and have us a tour around. Beautiful experience

We had a great stay! The room is very big and the bed really comfortable! We also had a terrace and get delicious food freshly made from the family. Good location to the yala park. Great host who arranged and guided us on an excellent safari trip where we were able to see a leopard and elephants from very closeby. We staid the full afternoon in the park and afterwards enjoyed an excellent dinner prepared by the host en his wife. Highly recommended.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic, very warm and welcoming. Kapila's knowledge about the flora and fauna in Yala National Park is top level and we would highly recommend doing your safari with him.
The rooms are very spacious, the beds are super comfortable and the hotel is in a very quiet spot so you are guaranteed a good night sleep. The garden is beautiful with lots of bird life around too. Highly recommend staying here!
Great location, clean enough, when we arrived the markets were on across the road which was great. Host was very nice and helpful. Maybe not for everyone but you get what you pay for and we were happy overall.
The host family is very nice. The young daughter speak a very good english and looks eager to train it and talk about their culture and traditions). The food I had was really good and they also greeted me with a fresh welcome juice. They let me help and Watch the dinner making and it was very pleasant.
The rooms are big, very clean and Probably recently renewed (the a/c system seemed pretty new).
The area is out of the city centre, but it is ist to get there in 20 minutes by walk.
I loved the authenticity of the place and the people here. Chilled backpacker vibes. Roberto is a great host ensuring a very warm welcome to guests offering tea etc .
Loved the rustic architecture , very much in tune to surrounding Nature complimented with the animals on site.
Lodge is set by the river so you can go for a dip and cool down. And ample space for you to relax, read and do yoga.
The restaurant building is fantastic. It sits above the tree tops in the breeze. It is beautiful. The staff are all terrific. Fantastic food. Fantastic guide. Great host and staff.
Very quiet place, hosts were really kind. dinner at the restaurant was tasty. We had full day Safari at Yala National Park and it was beautiful. Our driver Roschanne during the Safari was great, I highly recommend him 10/10. We also spotted a leopard at 5 pm. Roschanne was so nice with us.
