The views are amazing every where on the property. The view from my room was amazing. It was so nice sitting on the balcony and looking the view. The breakfast in the morning is outstanding and a feast! The host makes you feel at home and even drove me into town and to my train. They went above and beyond.

Rathnayaka and his team were simply awesome. And talk about responsiveness - wow! The rooms and common areas are clean and well maintained. It’s may take 5-7 minutes more to get to the top of the hill in a tuk tuk, but the extra dollar and change is well returned with the standards of the hotel and what had to be the best view of any lodging in town. This is our fifth lodging in Sri Lanka and well above all the rest.

We had a perfect 3 night stay here. The kind hosts, the room (we got the ruby room which is on the top floor, more stairs -more views) amazing views from room, big comfortable bed, clean, they though about everything in the room
so it will be comfortable for the guests. Location - perfect 2 minutes walk into the amazing Ella town, yes there are 60+ stairs to get to the room from the shortcut to the town, but easy stairs. They even clean the room if we want everyday - which no one in Sri Lanka does.. the breakfast was amazing! Toast, eggs, fresh fruit, yummy banana chocolate pancakes, fresh juice but really fresh not from a box - really everything was perfect.
The only thing - it does get noisy from construction in the property and near the property, and a noisy (music and lots of laughs when all their friends come over - which was cute) family in the house next door. But it didn’t bother us.
Will be back again for sure!

This is a lovely property with an amazing view on the quiet outskirts of Badulla. Hasindu is an extremely cheerful, helpful host, and he is also a great cook! He helped us arrange everything we wanted to do and was very responsive to everything we needed help with. I would definitely stay here again!

Our host was more than friendly and heldpful. The location is nice and not too far from the city center, the road to there is a little bumpy but. Breakfast was good, dinner is provided from outside if you want and was very tasty:)
