We really like the location, close to major train routes, but far enough to feel calm and quiet. You can easily walk to Asakusa too. Easy to access, and love having the facilities to wash clothes and cook meals. Decent cupboard spaces for storing clothes and keeping suitcases out of the way. View from top floor is lovely, the Skytree is so pretty at night.

Everyone spoke English very well and wanted to chat. Very friendly hosts, they made us feel at home. We'll be coming back here next time we're in Tokyo.

Again amazing experience, after I book a queen ,stayed another in the dorm room ,very quiet and respectful everyone ,I left my precious scarf under bed (be careful easy to slipper under bed ), I was in a hurry to airport and felt so bad with my attitude talking to the staff with broken English ,sorry for all misunderstanding and apologize for the way I talked )they found it and kept for me . I will definitely book again next time I visit Tokyo ,for those lovely girls and cozy stay . This is the meaning of traveling I cherish. Millions thanks ,well done girls I ma proud of u and very thankful for keeping my marriage anniversary scarf .

Beautiful, very clean space! All of the rooms and spaces, including the bathrooms, were spotless.
The space felt especially warm and homey during the daylight hours (sun!), and I appreciated the variety of lighting options (from very bright, to dim and warm) at night.
Really appreciated having snacks on arrival a long international flight.
Laundry machine worked great.

For large groups, having two separate toilets and showers saves so much time. Usually on other trips we would have to wait and queue for an hour before we're all done showering.

Walking distance from the station, nice, new and clean facilities. Spacious.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great host; charming neighbourhood; smooth check in-and-out; cost-efficient! Room was equipped with all of the essentials and more. Great place to stay if it’s your first time in Tokyo, as the host provides you with in-depth guides on how to reach the apartment and how to operate various pieces of technology. Would’ve loved to stay longer.
Great location, very convenient to different attractions. Great facilities, have everything we need and very comfortable to stay. Great host, always quick response and provide good support for our stay. We would like to stay again if we go to Tokyo next time.
The hostel was very quiet and comfortable. The beds were nice and big and offered plenty of space, never felt claustrophobic. Due to the heat, there was no need to close the doors to the bed. Location was perfect and right in the middle of tokyo with a 2 minute walk from Sensoji shrine. There were also high quality cheap Ramen places nearby for food. There is also a 7 eleven just outside the accomadtion.
We loved out stay at Kitazawa Cosy House, very spacious, quiet and clean with all the amenities we needed. Host Amy was friendly and we felt welcomed. Great location and an easy walk to the heart of Kitazawa for shopping, great cafes and restaurants. Easy walk to the Odakyu (Shinjuku) and Keio (Shibuya/Kichijoji) lines for transportation throughout Tokyo.
We came back to Kitazawa our last day in Tokyo for the Shimokitazawa Music Festival. What a great way to end our vacation!
Great location in quiet neighbourhood. Easy to reach from Narita Airport with Keisei skyliner to Ueno and 1 stop Ginza metro G17 from there 5 min walk. Basic but good facilities. Powerful shower, airco. 5 rooms with bunkbeds. Was very convenient for our family of 6. Good communication with the hosts. Easy check in.
Great hostel. Very clean and tidy, and quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location too and only a short distance from Shinjukus main area. The free breakfast was very nice too!
My second time in Tokyo at this guesthouse. Great location, next to a train station! It's affordable and has a friendly vibe with Tom being a fantastic host and a charming guy with many stories.
Jij is a great host who made me feel like spending Christmas in a home rather than a guesthouse. After receiving the special-lemon-juice-welcome drink I’ve been shown where to buy delicious Sushi at a cheap price & in the evening everyone gathered around the common table. Definitely my favourite hostel in Tokyo so far.
